The heart stuck with pins was a folk magic practise designed to remove curses. An animal heart was used - but here we have used bronze to avert maleficent forces instead.

This pendant is made using the lost wax process, meaning it is totally unique. It hangs from a gold chain and is cast in bronze metal.
