Blodeuwedd Talisman pendant

Blodeuwedd talisman, made using the lost wax process from brass.

Blodeuwedd is a character from Welsh mythology - a woman made by a magician from oak, broom and meadowsweet flowers. After trying (by use of murder) to escape the destiny wrought for her by men, she is turned into an owl. The legend tells us this is a punishment, but I think stories are there for the re-telling, and how could such a marvel be a punishment?
